Had this coin since Christmas of 1961.
There's a story that goes along with how I aquired it...but you're gonna have to wait 'til Christmas for the story!

So...somebody tell me all about my bustie.

Has it got summa them Overton thingees?

Nice coin,
As my first grading opinion,I am gowing with xf40,maby better.
It might have some Overton thingees, the die crack
from mid right wing through the C and into the A is great.
I love die cracks, gives it character.

The only attributes that I know for this coin are the ones I remember from the RedBook four decades ago.

I checked the reverse denomination for 50C over 00C...don't see anything.

I checked the date for 1836 over 1336...don't see anything.

Other than that, I jus' dunno.

Yeah, the die crack is classy!

Do bust halves have a lot of die cracks?

I'm always generous, but I think this is a strong EF-40 or maybe EF-45. No offense, but better pics would help determine if it maybe could go higher...or lower. It seems there's too much rub on the cheek for AU, but the wings look awfully nice...

the images make the coin look a little washed out so I am guessing this is a scan (which is hard to get to show luster)but I will agree with the EF-40-45 grade on this one. I don't have a overton book but I am sure someone else does and will be happy to attribute your coin for you

My first impression was XF45 but as Hunter pointed out there is quite a bit of rub on the cheek and breast so I'll say XF40 and if it has decent luster then XF45

I'd say EF-40.

One thing that strikes me as odd about the obverse is how much detail I see in the clasp, ear, and cap; and how little I see in the stars.
