Hello, my first time over on this side of the forum. Came across this the other day and liked it very much. I know absolutely nothing about grading/attributing/valuating Canadian coins and am looking for some help.

Thanks!

My eyes are starting to go but I'd say VF30. You can find a price list at http://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins-prices.php and grading guide at http://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins-grading.php. Take a close look at the 9 as there are many valuable varieties.

I'd say VF-30 as well, but heavily cleaned in the past. From the looks of the vine break at 7, it's a fairly early strike in the series. Reverse leaf positions for the Provincial Cents start with #1 being at about 12:15 on the clock and going clockwise to #16. I'm sure that one of the followers of Dr Haxby's site will come on and lead you to the ID Vicky website to find which of the 200+ working dies made your coin. It's a fun and educational evolution.
