This one has me . First thought was PMD but ONE CENT looks very odd and the extra columns in the bays.Heavy handed mint employee? Need input,thanks.John1

I fell it is PSD. They did some lines carefully, others if flows over the devices. But looks altered. If it were a die issue, they would be raised. Instead they are incuse.

It kind of looks like someone took it upon themselves to use a fine tip ball-point pen to color in the entire reverse field of this coin, not the devices, and the ink has mostly worn away. Strange looking for sure...

What about what looks like extra columns in the bays? I had a thought,a MADClash happened and then the mint tried to polish the die to remove the clash and went a bit heavy handed on it.

Sewing pin or nail point etc,then pushed all over the place. I agree with cooper,not raised lines PMD. Nice close up pics.

I have seen this done before by the public to coins below the Memorial before I think its the public coin artist
making grass.

Be better if this was not done to Zinc Cents or any coin,its going to suck bad when a 1992 D CAM comes thur here and well your guesses are as good as my guess. Lets hope not.
