I was on the grading standards page, still getting used to the descriptions, but I'm assuming this falls between VG & VF?

Adjectival grading terms in improving conditions: G (good) VG (very good) F (fine) VF (very fine) EF (extremely fine) Unc (unculated uncirculated) - common point = MS60 This coin between G and VG (adjectival) 'F' in the British adjectival system is a better grade than 'F' in Sheldon

Corroded. Will not grade with TPG. Otherwise VG.

The coin would not receive a grade from a TPG. It exhibits signs of being in the ground and cleaned. A details grade would be assigned when there is damage that would have occurred outside of the mint but not severe enough to not grade it...due to the severity of the damage I don't think they would assign a details grade

Great date, but that coin definitely falls into the Ugly Scale. I wish I could find that post with the various scale ratings that was done here some years ago.
