just a hello from cardiff,uk.have not been collecting for long,i mainly look for error coins or anything unusual from uk and usa.my fav's has to be the Indian Head cent's (not just errors) and the british penny,but to be honest I have a bit of everything because coins are so addictve.have made all the mistakes of cleaning coins as what got me into this was a lot of metal detecting finds (uncleaned) and lets just say what I revealed is what got me here..so look forward to speaking to you guy's.  *** Edited by Staff to remove YELLING. Thankyou for the welcome everyone,this is my first ever forum so I'ma bit on the shy and clueless side but itching to learn and ask for advice and suggestions.Thanks for the warning Matthew(vincent)about the capital letters..oops.Still trying to work out how things go on these forums,i must be a bit old school as I only just got rid of my typewriter.

Loopy, I made a lot of mistakes in the beginning so do not worry.
Minor mistakes are corrected by the moderators without incident. It is only those
whose posts would jeopardize the wholesomeness of the group, i.e. Kid Friendly, that get the boot.
And rules are in place for a good reason.
You will not find another coin site like the CCF.
Take your time and do not hesitate to ask for help.
Ah, typewriters. Just try to fine a new ribbon for one in this day and age.
