this is a 1988 D dime, my guess is it is corrosion but the obverse is actually kinda goldish in color at the top and normal at bottom, and I figured corrosion would cause it to look grey like around the "one" and "Nit". The front looks like age but behind his ear to behind his head is a goldish/bronze tint, not grey. have no clue what happened to the coin but the swirls and discoloration are weird so I'm second guessing that it is corrosion.
