If it's a low run them maybe but not just because it's a star note.

I'd say if the note is uncirculated (which yours isn't), I'd say absolutely! However, since it isn't, it's your call. If you collect notes and need a specimen of a 2009-L*, then keep it until you can find a different one.

However, since it isn't in that bad of shape, someone probably would pick it up from you for slightly over face.
