Idk if this is from lamination or just environment but it looks like it's missing a layer and the metal underneath has started to oxidize or rust? Idk is it an error if it is is it even worth anything its so ugly it's pretty lol

I dig up a lot of quarters like this. Maybe it was in the ground and some fertilizer got to it.

Definitely it was in the ground for a while.The last picture shows it well. Different types of soil,
PH level,moister content,Amount of time in the ground has different affects on clad coins.The environment started eating this one.
