I wanted a GSA Morgan dollar and preferred something other than a common 82, 83, or 84-CC so I selected this 1880-CC. Supposedly it is a scarce VAM-3A which may (or may not!) be something special. Can our resident VAMmers confirm its identity based on my photos?

Thanks!

I'm not sure if it's scarce but it is a VAM3A. That reverse die was a mess making for a cool Super CD variety.

I wandered through Heritage results to see if I could estimate a value. Prices are so schizophrenic for 1880-CC that all I got was confused.
