That's the only way you are going to be able to tell what's happened to that coin.

My guess would be that it was struck with counterfeit dies. The denticles and the Queen's portrait look really bad (look at those eyebrows). And more than from just the multiple strike.

What you need to do is send this coin to one of these experts (SPP-Ottawa or Nickelsguy) they'll tell you for sure what you have. BUT in the mean time if you can provide us with better pics (not so much light, closer and clear) along with the weight, diameter, magnetisim, any rotation between the 2 sides-( the loon and the queens heads should both point in the same direction or up) Take lots of pics and just post the best.

Is the coin perfectly flat like a regular when you put it on a flat surface it so it bent?
Feel free to call me Will.

I am sorry to ask for more pictures, but something like this needs as much as possible. if you could give a picture from a slight angle, so we can see the coins depth, trying to see the impressions in 3d.
As mentioned weight, dims and magnetic are all needed as well.
The coin to me (from the pics) looks wavey which to me would indicate more of a vise job, ultimately I think you may need to mail it to one of the experts.
