Pocket - I'm totally all in for a 10 % discount for MC members... I spoke to a RCM rep at the December Toronto event...and was told that by mid-year 2015 - more perks were coming for MC members... ...we shall see.. |

A 10% discount should cover the 7% BC PST I get charged on coins.

I don't see people complaining about flippers when they able to sell one of their coin at high price (because the flipper drove the price up) or purchased a coin they love at a discounted price (because flippers purchased too many and miscalculated how hot the coin is and has to liquidate it by selling them at discounted price). There's positive and negative to everything but when it comes to flippers, we always tend to point out the negative here. |

Right on Lost words. Everything in cycles, anytime there is a demand for something, existing companies will try to make more profit by producing more /higher prices etc , new companies start up to get their piece of the pie. When the demand drops so will the over production and any company that cant sustain itself will drop by the wayside, the over production will have to slow down as you can not run a business very long losing money, well maybe the RCM can lol I don't know. Just sucks for collector like myself who want their collection to hold/ increase in value over time but its great for those just collecting because they like the coin and don't care if it drops to 50% purchase value. I think most of the collectors who stated collecting over the past few years are "Value" collectors types and if they are now not buying that is adding to the over abundance of coins , its like a double whammy, Over production and less buyers. |
