Hello fellow coin hunters and collectors. I've been collecting since the early 90s but just recently got into roll hunting which I find very rewarding. I'm from Kentucky in the good ol`United States. Looking forward to talking with other like minded people. Stay safe and healthy.

rggoodie: Thanks for responding a few days ago. I am very new to using the internet and a computer period. So please bare with me. In my initial contact with CCF I had the able assistance of a young millenial or Gen.Z I don't know, a twenty something. Anyway to be concice I need to change my name on the forum, I was half joking when I answered him, and at th etme couldn't think of anything else so I just blurted out St. Stephen. And he just gave me a disfigured Mercury dime as an icon. I am bot happy with either of these developments. And we recently sent in a Mr. Natural icon waving his self righeous finger which is much more appropiate for me. As well my common nick name is Micky, like the Mouse. And would be happy if an moderator could be so kind as to change this to my satisfaction, thus giving me the sobriquet I am familiar with, and to those familiar with the Floyd Gottfredson version of Micky Mouse will, after coming to understand my personality, will make the connection. Hope this isn't to time consuming or difficult. And hope you will continue to be patient with me. I do not know anything about the internet world. Only that I shunned the use of the computer, much the way I did the automobile. I will of course address all numismatic questions, and submit all offerings, to the forums many members, in the hopes I can learn something, and also share the little I understand. I have one question for you. Can members contact one another to buy or sell coins ? I would be interested in buying two coins I can not find at a reasonable price on ebay. My original intention was merely to increase my knowledge of error coins. But the virus has made many things much more difficult. By the way. I am from Paris, France. Lived in the Washington DC area for decades. And moved to Ashland, Oregon, before moving to the beautiful city of Vienna, Austria. Where I have lived for several years now. I trust that answers the question of where I am from ? Thank you so much. Have a good day. All the best. St.Stephen ( Micky )

Aloha I'm from Maui Hawaii.Im into pennies and quarters.I have been collecting for two years and learning all I can.In Hawaii we have alot of coins that are in pocket change.. it's mind-blowing.Hawaii tend to be a slow pacing place so there not to many coin collectors that I have heard of .sothe Japanese love to put their pocket change into jars and when they pass on the children or grandchildren take the jars filled with coins to the local bank and well All I can say is it's quite amazing what you find..I have just found a 1955d weight 30 in small bag of pennies .help figure what do.I would surely bless

I'm from everywhere! My Dad was US Navy so I was a military brat. I went to High School in the south of Spain. Then when we got back to the States in the late 70's I went on a soul search for a couple years mostly living in Florida. My dad was stationed at the Pentagon during that time-frame. I went into the US Air Force in 1978 and served 24 years. During that time my family and I lived all over the planet! From Iceland to Alaska and also VA, NM, FL (3 times),GA, TX and a few other overseas places like the Mideast and South Korea. Finally settled down in the northwest tip of South Carolina. Was gonna retire in Alaska but a family issue came up that redirected our entire life. But that's another story. Life happens!
