Hi y'all, greetings from the Mohave Desert in sunny SoCal.
Thank you for this forum and for allowing me to join.
C-19 has allowed me the time to make good on my promise to my mother who went home March 26 (ironically due to C19) to look through all of her treasures to see if anyone else would consider them treasures.
And I am now starting to sort thru her cache of coins, or should I say hoard. I'll be asking plenty of questions but shouldn't be anything more than basic seeing as she stuck to modern coins lots of 60's-80's quarters, Kennedy halves, and Ike's...oh ya...and a boatload of pennies!
First Folgers can revealed 27 36 40 47 a 50 2-52 54 57 and 58's 60 61 64 68 69 all the 70's and 80's incl. 3-82's 1 small date but sadly no D to find. Peace

Thank you letting me join the group. I have called Houston home for the past 24 years. I have had a fascination with coins since a little girl, but no real learning path.
Since my husband passed recently and with C-19 I have the time to learn what I and he have acquired over the years.

Spring Hill, TN. Collecting for about a year now. Made a nice connection with two of my local bank branch vault tellers for them to call me when their coin machine bags fill up. Instead of sending them to the Fed, I buy the bags from them and return the coins I dont keep to another branch that refuses to sell me any coins. This gives me a relatively good stream of coins to hunt.
