I am originate from Loveland Ohio, started collecting in mid 1970's and just got back into it in the past year or so. I currently live in Lakewood, Ohio on beautiful Lake Erie

Hi guys & girls. I live in the Catskill Mts of New York state. I am a retired policeofficer with over 30 yrs of service. I have been playing at detecting about 15 yrs or so off and on. I have hunted the battlefields of the revolutionary war, the French and Indian war, the battle fields of the Saratoga War. I have also been lucky enough to have done the Shiloh battle field with and for the US Goverment. A lot of these places because of some good friends and contacts. I'm just an average guy who enjoys digging in the dirt detecting or in my garden. I am glad I found this sitr of other like minded folks like myself. I'll end with that and the words ( Keep your coil to the ground )

Mark here and living in Halifax, NS. Canada and my 15 minutes of fame is loosing my entire collection of bank notes and coins from The Royal Mint by theft while on a holiday 14 years over due. Doing the Google search on the theft of my collection, I found CCF and was amazed to learn, one topic of conversation was me !! For once in a number of months since, I have been happy with myself for clicking the click. It's reassuring to see that there are people who care. Speachless but for the words ; thank you
