I am not new to collecting, nor for that matter am I new to life. I am in my seventies and have been a Morgan dollar collector since my grandfather gave me a holed Morgan dollar that he said was shot by a sore loser's Derringer at a poker table in upstate New York, circa 1900. I have since learned that wasn't true. Anyway, that was around 1953, and I have been an ardent collector of them ever since. I have also been afflicted with the collector's bug of certain silver bars and rounds. Once a collector always a collector I guess. Only the collectibles change. Anyway, hello and good collecting. melneb New Member United States 10 Posts	Posted 05/17/2015 05:57 am I live in Utah, USA. I am new to coin collecting, although I have always been fascinated by old and new coins. I love corroded, perfect, and those in between. I am a Dental Laboratory Technician and work with precious and base metals on a daily basis. I can't seem to get enough of the Mercury dimes, or any coin from 1976. I joined this community to find more answers about a 1907 Liberty nickel my friend had acquired that I am sure is an error coin, but we haven't found any images that compare. I hope we can find outvthe error classification, how to determine its value, etc. Report this Post to the Staff
