Hi, I'm a newbie here. It took about 30 minutes of lurking before I signed up. This looks like a great site. I'm mostly interested in small cents (Lincolns) and nickels but like looking into all US coins & notes. Love the history that goes with $$$. I currently live in southern Wisconsin in the US, but also spend time on the UP of MI (Copper Country, of course). BP

Might as well add mine. I live in NJ and primarily get my good finds from teller trays at the bank I'm at.

Hi all I am new here, I live in NE Ohio. My Grandfather got me started collecting coins when I was 14, he would give me, a 1928 two dollar bill for christmas, that was in crisp condition, you would have thought he went to the mint and got it, for years, he would give me another two dollar bill, I don't remember what year he stopped, but now I have ones, twos, fives, tens, twenties and a fitty, I think some years, he must have give me several bill at a time, and there all silvercerificates, ever since then, I been collecting coins and bills, I don't have much extra money so sometimes I go to the bank and buy rolls of coins to hunt through, now I am 60 and still hunting for coins, sometimes I sell duplicates of my coins, or trade for others. Thank you Dennisjf12

Hi there, I am from Cleveland, Ohio. The silver lining of dealing with a house overflowing with a lot of stuff (my elderly parents' home) was that I found a huge number of old coins, ranging from early 1800's US coins to 17th century European coins, to old mysterious coins from maybe the Middle East. Looking forward to getting some help identifying some of my mystery coins and generally gaining some knowledge! Thanks! AW
