Mine is sellers who in their listing ask for positive feedback if your satisfied ,, and then never leave feedback for the buyer .

I will never buy from a seller again who does does not leave feedback for me after I leave them positive feedback for their part of the transaction.

if I ever sell anything as soon as I have received payment I go right then and leave positive feedback for that buyer because in my mind they have fulfilled their part of the transaction and all that is left is my part

One of my biggest beefs is the people who ask you to reimburse Paypal fees. The whole point of accepting Paypal (or Credit Cards) is that you make it easier to buy, thereby encouraging more people to bid and for that service you pay a fee.

These people basically are asking the buyer to also pick up part of their advertising fees . Why not also ask buyers for some extra money to pay for your internet service too while your at it? After all, you have to be on the internet to be able to advertise on ebay. How about asking for extra money for your laundry too while your at it ?

Inacoffeebuzz ... sellers requiring buyers to reimburse PayPal fees is a violation of ebay policy and needs to be reported. The issue of feedback is a trigger for me and in an attempt to keep Bobby at bay on the issue I won't re-engage.

To learn more about it, visit the last two pages of the "Discouraged sellers" thread. There is a wide delta of thought between buyers and sellers. I am happiest if sellers post feedback upon receipt of payment.

Ya I know Bobby's position on feedback,, and all I can say is it is one of a handfull of issues that Bobby and and I agree on 100% .

as a buyer I always leave feedback to the seller first ( unless they leave feedback for me before the Item arives) I think it helps resolve any issues on whether or not I'm satisfied and if Iam not going to be returning the Item for a refund .

As I see it at the point of a return the business is far from over between the seller and buyer ,, feedback before that point is not only premature ,but actually makes the feedback system even less dependable.

We always give feedback to any buyer who gives us feedback. If they can't be bothered then we don't bother. We put a slip in with each posting requesting feedback when item is received (or please contact if any problem). That way we know item has been received and buyer is happy.
We had one where we made a mistake with a plate and sent an identical one to the listed one, except baxkstamp slightly different and the buyer gave negative feedback immediately on receipt. We then sent the plate, as per listing photo so buyer got 2 for the price of one and it took us a while to convince her that withdrawal of feedback would be reasonable.

If we are buying we give feedback as soon as receiving item.

Whats worse than a seller not leaving feedback for the good buyers is when they do leave feedback the person who left them the negative.

When I buy from ebay.fr, ebay.de or tradera.com, my biggest irritation is sellers who will not take paypal. It costs $39 to send a IBAN/SWIFT wire transfer at Bank of America, plus it requires taking off work early to go to the special bank branch which will do it, having to walk them through a filling out a stupid paper form with information from emails I had to print out, and then waiting as they type all the information back into the computer, and many times it doesn't go through and just gives the message "invalid IBAN number." What a painful experience and horrible waste of everyone's time and money! I will gladly pay 4-5% paypal fees on a purchase to avoid this torture.

I had this seller constantly hounding me to leave a feedback and it was to the point where he was sending me e-mails via ebay and my e-mail address every day for a few weeks. I ended up leaving feedback alright, a negative feedback stating the seller hounds you to death to leave feeback. As far as I'm concerned I was being harrassed by that seller.

On big ticket items I tend to not leave feedback unless it is a private auction, the way I look at it is that it is no bodies business what I buy.
