Trying to upgrade some coins I've been having trouble finding. Here are three of them I picked up. Grades and opinions are always welcomed! First up, a 1922 weak D with a strong reverse. Been looking at these for a while because I didn't have one. This one has a couple of spots on it, but it's exactly what I was looking for: I have also been looking for a high quality BU 1939D and found this Gem. It's one of the best BU coins in my collection, I gave it an MS66: Lastly, I've been looking for MONTHS to find a good, BU 1933 and finally scored! Surprisingly, these are very difficult to find in my area and the eBay/Heritage prices are insane. The pictures don't do this coin justice. It's the first BU coin I've seen that looks proof-like in hand. It has a very polished planchet look to it.

I love pennies and have a few BU's from the 50's but that 39 is beautiful. Congrats on the purchase.

I trend agree sometimes eBay/Heritige prices are insane on there stuff sometimes. I wondor how they get those prices on there coins. I was amazed at some of there coins going for thousands of dollors on keys or double dies.
I do like your 1939, 1933 bu coin. I wish that 1933 coin was in my book its nice.

Thad, I don't share your enthusiasm for Lincoln cents, but I have to say your photos are great. I'm with Amazon, the '39 shows up nice.

The 33 and 39 are neat because they came from a very nice collection this shop bought. They were all in an album, every coin in there was BU and very, very nice. Somebody put together an awesome collection of Lincolns. I wanted to buy more of them, but they are kind of pricey since they're all BU MS63++. Don't really need them, but I'm still thinking of going back and cherry picking that album some more.
