I haven't bought one yet, but eventually I'm going to get a McKinley note. One is good condition, crispy if I can find one.

Question, doe any / many of you folks own a McKinley note?

Great conversation piece, huh?

Any regrets tying up money in an old note like that?

I've spent serious money for coins, never for a note thought. This would be my first.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Well, atleast it's always worth $500. I think it would be pretty cool, but it's too expensive for me.

I'd be an interesting piece to my collection but it's not my style. Least you would know that the price would only increase over time

A teller at one of the banks I frequent told me she has one and wanted ME to check on its worth. I told her it would depended on the year, series, and condition, as I don't know anything about notes. I told her I'd like to have it but I would wind up buying a box of halves with it anyways LOL. I said I would look into it but without knowing the year and series- impossible, she said its in real good shape. On another forum it was suggested I take it off her hands sos she wouldn't get into trouble. HH Mark
