I have never had this happen to me and I have bought a lot of stuff on ebay. Anyways, I won this item on ebay for 13.00 and have been getting offers from people to buy it. Yesterday got one offer for $36 and one for $41 plus shipping. I have not received the coin yet, but by looking at the photo's it looks like a 1972P-1DO-007 and according to Chucks web site even at MS65 it is only worth $20. The people who are sending me private messages are active eBayers and doesn't look like stolen accounts. I just do not get it, I did lose one auction last night for the 002 which I wanted and thought it went a little high. I am trying to complete the series, I have the 003,005,007,008 now. So what do you think, is this a new scam where somehow the money they send is no good and I send the coin and lose out, or did I buy something other than a 007? The seller is sometimes off on his varieties, there are a couple 1972's that he had attributed wrong but does have a 7 day return policy so I figured if mine are wrong I would just send them back.

Don't respond, it's more than likely a scam.

More then likely a scam. If they really want it tell them you'll treat it like an ebay auction where they pay first then you ship it. No returns as they know what the coin looks like.

Got a link to the auction?
