I got a 1929-S and 1928-D in EF condition and these are nice coins as well. It is hard as heck to get the first page in EF or even VF condition without breaking the bank. 1916-S in EF is worth almost what the entire 1940's are worth. I have three coins to go to complete my Walker collection and you did it for $1000. You did good.

However, one thing I really hate about Dansco, that last page full of blanks. Just can't figure out why Dansco can't figure out how many slots it takes to make an Album.
The dies Dansco uses to punch album pages are all set to fill the page with a full set of holes regardless of the denomination or how many coins are in any series. It just is not cost effective to have pages with any fewer holes. To do so would mean they would have to make up a LOT of additional dies to punch out just one page for a particular album. Just look at that last page as a place to put duplicates or varieties.

Congratulations on your set. The Walking Liberty half is one of my favorite sets that I have been upgrading since my original collection. and yes the early dated are expensive in my goal of XF or better.

What did the 1916-S in EF condition set you back Muddler? I am looking for one right now. Looking for 1921 and 1921-D as well. I see some on ebay and they are just smooth, thin placeholders.
