It is hard as heck to get the first page in EF or even VF condition without breaking the bank. 1916-S in EF is worth almost what the entire 1940's are worth. The Walking Liberty half is one of my favorite sets that I have been upgrading since my original collection. and yes the early dated are expensive in my goal of XF or better.
