May not have been intentional, but it looks like it happened through an unnatural process. I'd stay away from it.

It looks unnatural to me, like it was placed on a piece of fabric for a period of time.

I agree with Joe. At first it looked like fingerprints, but now it looks like fabric pattern, all over on both sides. Toned yes, attractive no. This coin belongs in the junk bin.

I think the toning is legit (not AT). The coin was stored in an "unusual" manner. Whether you like it or not is another matter,
And for that much money I'd want it slabbed.

I would stay away from it. The toning looks very unnatural to me too. There's an abrupt "line" where it starts. Also, it has a pattern on it. In my opinion, the colors should be much more gradual. Example:

I agree, the toning is most certainly artificial.

Looks like a single drop of some chemical slightly rubbed with a finger to my very novice eye when I comes to such things
