I also found this in pocket change, and have never seen anything similar. When my wife gets home I'll try a closer picture of the hole.

I've seen this before. The plating gets split on the outside edge of the mint mark and things get worse when the zinc is exposed to air and leaves these results. Spendable.

The pus is just so wrong,funky.

I am sure most cases someone comes to the board with a Zinc Rot they learn quick from members just a Zinc Rot Cent,thing is the money is Rotten and the Pubic does not see it happening.

Its all just weird. They keep making more. I have seen tore up 2013 D's already with Zinc Rot.

I am getting BU 2014 D rolls still and 2015 D rolls. I think they are minting to many Zinc Cents.
