I posted this on another forum and did not realize that it was or could be a Talon Head Ike. I was wanting a grade and surprisingly it seems I might have been on the low side.

Majority think it is 64/65.

Thoughts?

So it is a clash of some type..that is good news indeed. Would you say MS64 or 65?

I like the darker images that show the toning on it better. There is a mark at 8:30 on the rim that may be a distraction. Also a coin scratch through "O" on dollar NE. MS64-63 range. Coin scratch on last star on right. (I'm tough on grading coins.) I see a die clash line on the reverse as well:

Wow I need to look through my other Ikes...this one was just so nice I wanted to add it to my book and then someone said Talon head....so that got me to looking. I bought a roll for $1.30 a piece, I think I got a good deal with this one alone.

I know the feeling. I bought a roll of cents the other day and found one coin in the roll that was worth over 4 times what I paid for the roll.
