I never seen a penny like this. Can y'all help me? This is what I see wrong with it: OBVERSE; missing "IN GOD WE TRUST" - multiple date, double ear, double die on the last 3 letter of LIBERTY (RTY), some weird lines, and missing bottom half of Lincoln's body. REVERSE: missing "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" , in "ONE CENT" the -O- looks like a D also missing the -T-... double die on top right corner of shield, and lines everywhere. I couldn't get a good picture of the rim. But looks like "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" is printed on the rim.. is this a mint error or man made? Is it worth anything?

Looks to be quite a nice Struck Through Grease error. Just like any industrial facility, the US mint can be a dirty place to work at, and grease, debris, and dirt can build up and find its way into a coining press. These errors definitely have a premium, especially the more dramatic ones. I would estimate $15 for this one since so many design elements are affected, but keep in mind that is my opinion and that is approximately what I would be willing to pay for such an error.

What puzzles me is that why does it say "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" on the rim. Is it because the grease caused the machine to slip?

Not sure about United States of America on the rim - I can't see it in the photo. Photos would definitely be helpful to help characterize causes of that.

Can you post some larger pictures of it with less glare? I can't see what you are referring to with the "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and I would like to see the washed out details. Definitely a keeper in my book errr I mean my 2x2 pages.

I have a question though... would it be worth it to get this penny graded? PS; I apologies for asking too many questions, but to hold the key to success I must have the knowledge, to have knowledge... I must ask the question

If you were to get it graded do it for the right reasons. If you expect to resell this and turn a profit, then no do not get it graded. The value of the coin is on par or less than the actual cost of grading. However, if it is for sentimental purposes and you enjoy the look of a TPG company holder then I would consider getting it graded. I admit, I had my first error coin found in change graded - a Georgia State Quarter Greaser with half of Washington obscured - but this was because of strong sentimental value which is another story completely. To this day it is my favorite coin and one of my main reasons for getting back into coin collecting.
