Just this evening I'm noticing that it takes "Check Spelling" a lot longer than usual, and it always congratulates me for no mistakes, even when I spelled "than" as "thatn" and "to" as "ti."

I assume this is a temporary issue. It has always worked well for me before.

(Incidentally, the spell checker ran quickly and caught the errors in this post ... I guess "ti" really is a word? ... but had the aforementioned problems in other forums just a few minutes ago.)

I'm sure it's just a temporary issue.

We'll just have to wait it out though, the spellchecker uses Google's dictionary through a "back door" that I have permission to use for free. Since it's free I can't really complain about a little server slowness once in a while.

Firefox is beautiful. It's already got a built in spell checker for me

quote:
ti [tee] -noun, plural tis. Music.

1. the syllable for the seventh tone of a diatonic scale.
2. (in the fixed system of solmization) the tone B.
