What happened with this 1933 halfpenny? The line/larger dots under Rex F.D.In.

Looks like there's a major die crack developed there, stretching in an arc from the O in OMN around to the N in IND; that's about ninety degrees. There's also a crack through the N in IND, out to the rim. I'd say this die was dangerously close to shattering when this coin was struck.
