Bought $1 Silver Certificates at auction yesterday in avg to above avg condition for $2 each. I purchased 25 of them in two lots because there was one star note in each group.

My question is, what are the star notes approximately worth? They are 1957 series blue seal.

I find it very interesting that the other collectors in the room apparently do not know or understand star notes. Other groups of the same type of $1 silver cert. sold for the exact same value, $2 each and those groups did not have a star note in them.

Is there a website that places approximate values on different bills?

For Silver Certificates star notes are worth about the same as notes that aren't star notes.
