Any ideas? looks like the size of a farthing, and looking at the lettering I think cyprus?

It was minted during the British administration of the Ionian Islands. This was from 1809 to 1864. The French lost control of the islands to the British during the Napoleonic Wars & they were eventually ceded to the Greeks by the British approx 50 years or so later. Your coin comes from that period of British rule.

I purchased one myself on e-bay today in similar condition for just over 9 GBP, though I have watched them sell for considerably more than that on occasions.
