Copper Toning (1953 SF Small Cent) - Coin Community Forum

Quatchi Valued Member Canada 228 Posts	Posted 03/10/2015 10:10 pm After searching for some time for an MS example of a 1953 SF Small Cent, I finally snapped up this beauty on ebay. It arrived today. ICCS has labeled it "Lustrous Brown" and I like how it looks, but I'm wondering how natural this greenish toning is. I don't have any other small cents that exhibit toning quite like this. Surely if the toning was unnatural, ICCS would have labeled it "cleaned" or something to that effect. Your thoughts? Report this Post to the Staff
