I wanted to fill the Proof holes in my Dansco. The holes are from 1968 onward.

I was fortunate to purchase the whole lot from 1968-S to 2006-S. I'm only missing three: 1970-S Small Date, 1979-S Type 2 & 2007 S.

Proofs are beautiful! The seller threw in a bonus: 1964-S & 1968-S, which surpass the later dates!

BadTad,

I bid on the 1950, one of the few left I need. I need the 36, 50 and 51 to complete the set. I picked up 83-2003 PCGS PR69 DCAM for $12 each shipped last night also (did not need them, just thought it was a good deal)

YES! I'm nearly complete now! Just bought the 1970 small date:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...WN:IT&ih=004

All I need now is: 1936, 1937, 1941 and 1951! A mere 4 coins to a complete proof collection (minus the mattes).

Where's the other one? There's only one I see and I was seriously thinking about it:

If you're bidding, let me know and I'll pass this time. LOL

I started to bid on the NGC PF63 and the carbon spots really changed my mind. I do not know a lot about them and how they progress, if they can be stopped or anything else except they are bad. I know they can not be removed and have read as long as they are kept properly they will not progress, that is a chance I do not think I would want to take on a 200+ coin.

I was tempted, but the spots were just too distracting and Ducky helped convince me to wait. Since this coin is the start of the series for me, I want to have a nice one. Up to now, I've been going for completion over quality, I think the 1936 will be an exception. I still need the 1941 and 1951 too, I'm just grabbing whatever I can get for those so I can be finished.
