Looks like a great strike, unless it's just the toning that is accentuating it. I see a couple of small hits in the jawline, and a pretty good rim ding at 10 o'clock on the obverse. Just a few chatter marks in the fields on the reverse below the arrow heads and above the branches.
Having said that, My thoughts are a solid MS63, maybe a 64 if the rim shot doesn't weigh too heavily. Superdave is the resident 1921 guru for special VAM types above a VAM1(I guess?) if any. Becky and Bryan and MorganFred among others are certainly more experts than myself, including knowledge on varieties/VAMs, so take my grade with a grain of salt.
