I have seen them for all different prices and I know some people use them for microscope lighting. I would like to try one on some coin camera pictures.

Did you end up getting the light? I am looking into getting on of these also, my current setup throws to much light at an angle and I am missing some varieties because of the light. I have looked on ebay and did quick search on the net, these seem to run around $300 bucks for a 150W light.
