I dOnt know why but I really like it it's my favorite of all my coins..yet I know NOTHING about it..can anyone help me out?

there is an identical version with BELGIQUE on it that is French instead.

I love how Belgian coins have both Belgique and Belgie versions.. gives me one more thing to collect :)

They had different language versions only until 2001. Newer ones have either no country name (circulation coins), an abbreviation ("B") or a trilingual Dutch-French-German inscription.
