I'll say VF-25 on the large cent.

F-15 on the Two Cent Piece.

Your 2 Cent is a weak strike but even so from the pics I would have a hard time giving it anything above a VG10 The new ANA grading guide might call it an F12-15 but not me. Anyway its your coin so you are perfectly entitled to call it what you will...

2-cent is F15, possible VF20.
1-cent would body bag for cleaning (and retoned), but VF+ details.

Hehe.. a few controversial things being said about my little coins here.. body bagging for cleaning?! - bah.. least I am not guilty of doing that!... darn those previous owners for doing this...I still don't think she would quite "boby-bag" however..oh, my poor dead Lady!!

Personally, I like Bilbo's initial analysis but I would say the 2 cent is only an F-12. We all have different opinions, so very true in this case...

Hehe, it isn't a slam on your coin. For non-Americans, a bit is probably lost in translation so to speak. If you were to send that coin in to PCGS, NGC, or ICG, it would be returned in a little plastic bag ungraded and unslabbed for cleaning, hence the term "body bag"

ANACS will slab a coin with problems such as cleaning and NGC has a sister company call Numismatic Conservation Services that will also slab problem coins but they have to be submitted to NCS and not NGC.

Oh yes I understood what you meant (that being that problems caused by the evils of cleaning detract from overall grade and I agree with this thinking) but I was just referring to the fact it's still a good grade
nonetheless Body bagging seems a little negative in this case :</
