50 Cents,

I have looked at this many times and have hestitated to "go first", but this piece of art keeps drawing me back. The spot toning on the obverse is mesmerizing! It almost looks too good to be true. I see no blemishes in the fields and only some slight contact marks on the upper thigh. From this picture I would say the 64/65 range. It's truly one of the most gorgeous Walkers I've seen. Congrats!

I know nothing about grading Walkers, but I do know eye appeal when I see it! I agree with Nut, this has got to be one of the most beautiful half dollars I have ever seen! The blue toning makes it, IMHO, look like artwork.

Thanks for the nice comments....

This Walker is graded 65 by NGC and has proof-like surfaces and was stored in a Wayte Raymond Album for years.

Wow... she is spectacular! What causes the various toning? What would cause the blue vs rainbow vs gold? I have to start looking for toning... I love the color!

Wayte-Raymond pages are known to cause fantastic toning. I'm sure it's due to a higher sulpher content.

The toning is beautiful. I think NGC hit the mark with this one.
