that makes it Frensch by me Rick

Now, (of cource) the next question from my side is, which mintmark is it?, from this date there are 13 differend once!!

as far as I can remember, you can find it below the ribbon on the 1/2 franc side, it's one or more letters, need to know this, for this date there are some high differences for it in the Monnais royalles francaises and Krause 1800-1900.

Hi Carl

Directly below the ribbon ,in the center there is a star, to the right is an A,, and to the left, is some type of symbol, looks like a man wearing a sombrero ? or an anchor or something like that ?

I think the coin was made in paris, I found some other coins , just not this particular one with the same markings, and if I remember right it was paris ?

Thanks for the time you spending on this !!!

Good morning Rick,

The star is for the time 1830-1842, first sighn for your date, the mintmark A is Paris indead, the Anchor the paris mintmark for that date.

The coin should be km 741.1, with a market faleu (in my catalog, who is not the newest) fine 5,--, VF 10,--, XF 25.--, UNC 90.--

Of cource no thanks are needed Rick, I have to get my hits to be a pillar some day as well[:p]

Greetings, Carl
