Well ... I sure don't HAVE one. I guess I MUST need one.

But there are already 9 different people bidding on it (apparently without a RedBook between them), and the last one bid twice. He looks serious. I guess I'll need to "shop victoriously" another day.

I guess that 1872 is a really rare date? I can't find it listed in the RedBook so it must be super valuable! Sometimes I am still amazed st some of the stuff found on ebay, nor do I get how some people can bid so blindly.

Yes that is one of those "Early Release/First Strike" Trade dollars. The only thing missing is a Basement Slab with that designation on it.

Just so I don't confuse anyone not familiar with the series ... production began in 1873. This is a "copy/counterfeit/replica".

HABIB - Did you report this one to ebay?
