Spoiler alert, so don't read if you don't want to know yet.
Watched that last night. NGC certified example (somewhat older slab style), no issues whatsoever except that the seller absolutely wanted $100K for it, and Rick's coin guy said that other equivalent specimens had recently sold at auction in the $50K range (an amount not at odds with current price guides). So no deal was struck.

Some of the people that come on the show amuse me. Here, we have an expert come in and provide recent, real world auction prices realized, and the guy still wants double that amount. Craziness.

I need to see it as well because I was too late for it. Its weird there's no 1895 p Morgan dollars on ebay. |
