CPChicago Valued Member United States 185 Posts	Posted 11/08/2007 10:42 pm I found a couple interesting Rosey's while looking through $50 in rolls this past week. 1 - an off center '96 (probably not enough off center to be worth anything) 2 - an '05 with something going in front of Teddy's face - grease? It'll get better, I promise... 3 - an '06 with some extra material at the back of his head (cud? - noticeable with the naked eye), and what I think is a small die break at the bottom of the torch, right side (barely noticeable with the naked eye, if at all). 4 - an '03 with a die break through the A of America (VERY noticeable to the naked eye) and another at the same spot on the torch as the '06 (more noticeable than the previous). Let me know what you guys think of wow factor, quality of find, and value as I have no clue what these dogs go for! Thanks for looking everyone! Report this Post to the Staff

No premium but an interesting oddity. #2 Possibly grease strike through BTW, that is Franklin, not Teddy who was was his older cousin #3 die chip and I have sometimes seen this referred to as a "Dennis the Menace cowlick chip" and I believe that someone here has posted a larger version of it before. To be a Cud, it would have to affect the rim. #4 die crack progressing to a die break None have any real value(other than 10 cents) but all are interesting as educational pieces Report this Post to the Staff

Even though they are the same, I don't think it is off center enough to be worth more than face. I believe once letters, numbers, etc are missing, then you have something more unique and worth more than face. Report this Post to the Staff
