I have 2 of these dimes that look similar and my other ones do not.

I see very slight doubling on some of the letters, my pictures do not show it, but more importantly, what about the left side of the rim?

Looks like it might have been moved during it's strike of doubled?

Thoughts?

This is like the 1994 quarter in an earlier post, it is slight finning of the rim.

Looks like it is a wide collar error:

Interesting read which seem to fit this coin.

I don't know how much value they have as I see them often. But it is always nice to find the correct term for them how it happened.

I guess I do not understand how to tell the difference between a wide collar and a "railroad rim". What is the difference?

Would the difference be that on a wide collar there is a measurable difference in the diameter of the coin from a normal coin and not so with the railroad rim?

A partial collar affects the edge of the coin. So the term railroad rim (partial collar) is noticed on the edge of the coin:

Interesting coop, I didn't consider a wide collar error. I guess to prove it is a wide collar error we must get the diameter of the dime. Ilzho, can you give us the diameter?

I read that as 17.9 mm (or just a hair shy). That makes it normal size if I read that correctly(?)
