Sounds like a really rare "hit the lottery" type find if you come across one. I'll have to keep an eye out for these when I'm doing the deposits at work.
From first look, I would have thought the error was a partial bank stamp of the note. I'll hafta watch my tens from now on. One of these would buy me a lot of bust halves.
That's pretty cool. Any thoughts on how a pre-printed stock error could happen? According to the article:
Quote: Myers postulates that the unidentified print is, in fact, a partial print applied to the paper roll for identification and may have bordered the starting and working area of the paper.
I don't know enough about the printing process to say whether or not that makes sense.
