I saw this in my email about five days ago but hadn't gotten around to reading about it.

It is a pre-printed stock error which I had never heard of before now.

Sounds like a really rare "hit the lottery" type find if you come across one. I'll have to keep an eye out for these when I'm doing the deposits at work.

i guess it is a good thing when I withdraw money from the bank I always ask for ten dollar bills.

From first look, I would have thought the error was a partial bank stamp of the note. I'll hafta watch my tens from now on. One of these would buy me a lot of bust halves.

That's pretty cool. Any thoughts on how a pre-printed stock error could happen? According to the article:

I don't know enough about the printing process to say whether or not that makes sense.

So would this mean that only bills starting with JA would have this error? Correct or no?
