That's all it is Ken. just MD but if the rest of the coin is as nice as the Liberty and date you got a nice keeper Gary

what does the reverse show? Any doubling on any letters? Interesting that only the first three digits are affected and not the last one?. Does the bottom or the top of the L in LIBERTY show any doubling? (Above or below the L?)

Unless it's the picture, it seems to have been oiled or laquered. Any thoughts?
Thanks, Bill

I'm not sure if it's been cleaned, however Popeye brings up some memories.

Could be ejection doubling. But still a nice coin for a collection.

It was definitely cleaned in olive oil. Put it in some acetone to get rid of the shinyness or just leave it alone.

Popeye...that's a good one! quote: It was definitely cleaned in olive oil. Put it in some acetone to get rid of the shinyness or just leave it alone.
So it's just that easy? I'll think about it... quote: is 1909 year the only Lincolns you collect?
Do you have some you want to get rid of, if so I am buying? Actually, since I traded GaryLCSr all my wheaties months back...I figure I need to pick up some...so far 09 has been my kick I have been on. I also pick up 31-S and the small dates when I can find decent ones. I am also keeping all my copper I have found that is in XF or better from doing the Coin Project.
