Celticsoul Pillar of the Community United States 1566 Posts	Posted 03/16/2015 7:31 pm I would give it a good soak in acetone then some Verdi-Care to try to get rid of the spot before I sent it in. They may not "details" it with the spot but if a little soak in acetone gets rid of it better to be slabbed without it than with it. Is it just the photo or does the obverse have porosity? If it does they may throw a "details" on the slab for that. Unless you're trying to sell it does it really need to be slabbed? Report this Post to the Staff
edweather Pillar of the Community United States 7375 Posts	Posted 03/16/2015 7:45 pm Yea, try some acetone, then a small spot treatment with Verdicare.....at least it will get rid of the green. I'm not sure if the green spot would make it details, but it would be a gamble I wouldn't take. It almost looks like something spilled on it.
