I'm at MS64 also. Beautiful color. Rare strong strike. An amazing example. This coin is worthy of being in any major collection. Thanks for sharing it

PCGS gave it an MS 62. As an EAC grade I would give it a 58. Not that I am busting on my own coin, I love it! I think the strike awesome along with the color and fields. It could have a little more luster, but if it did it would not be in my price range;)

If we were to judge PCGS, I would say they did a fair job. Personally, I would have went with MS-63.

Nonetheless, what a gorgeous coin!

EAC 58 May be a little harsh. I can't see the coin in hand. Does the coin show ANY wear? If not its EAC 60. I wouldn't net grade it down just for lack of luster. She's almost 200 years old, give the old girl a break. Awesome chocolate TJ.

I particularly like the colour on that coin. Nicer than other MS 62s N-10s I've seen listed in Heritage archives.

Great coin man.

Surprised that it only got a 62.

In just the right light you can see where the coin has some discoloration that may indicate wear just above the R in Liberty and on the cheek. Maybe I am being a bit tough on this pretty lady but I try to be objective. In any case I am dancing fruit stoked about this coin!:)

I think of TPG grading as a ballpark grade and then judge accordingly. Thanks to all the kind advice and knowledge shared here on CCF I think I am finally comfortable and confident enough to purchase a coin of this caliber:D
