The only wooden nickel I have is a "good for 5 cents" piece issued in 1967 for a Saint John coin show.

It has Canada's centennial maple leaf and a United Empire Loyalist on it. Saint John is known as the "Loyalist City" and back when all the loyalists came up to Nova Scotia the colony's population doubled!

This thread may do better in the exonumia subform then the Canadian NCLT subforum.

People actually collect these? I guess I know what I am going to do with all these broken limbs from my trees in the spring.
