I was looking at google images and stumbled on this site. I have been collecting coins and stamps for years as well as coin roll hunting. Had taken a hiatus from CRHing after finding 2 complete rolls of Walkers in customer wrapped rolls, 40 coins in 2 rolls. Felt it couldn't get any better. But now I have the bug again. 2015 Silver totals type rolls/finds 10c - 122/2 - 2 rosies (64, 47D) 25c - 0/0 - 1 coin machine reject tray (62 Wash) 50c boxes/finds 3 / 0-90% 2-40% (1 1976 Kennedy Proof) 50c loose - 6/0 Best find, 40 Walking Liberty halves in 2 CWRs Albums working on Whitman Jefferson Kennedy

Welcome! Sounds like we search similar coins in close proximity. Although my job change pulled me out of your direct swimming hole over a year ago, but I had some good luck over there. I wonder if same bank you got the walkers from is the one that got me hooked $7 worth of 90% on one of my first times asking. I think my new route is out of your path. Good luck!!

CLS12 I live about 3 miles from Foxboro Stadium (home of the World Champion Patriots - the best dynasty), it was a BOA in Walpole were I used to dump my coins. I asked them if they had any halves, they said yes 32 customer wrapped rolls! I took them all even though I could see my marks on most of them, 29 of them to be exact! But of the other 3 rolls, 2 of them were solid Walkers

to CCF. Cool name (did you happen to watch Bonaza on TV). Yes I know how you must have felt. Years ago I happened to get $10 dollars in halves and as I was walking away I saw that they were all Liberty Walkers and Franklins with a few 64 Kennedy's. Went back in and asked the same teller if she had any more and she said she did. I walked away with $176 dollars in rolls and loose. Many would be classified junk but I had a few that were decent. I was happy so I know how you felt for sure.

Bad I do Cowboy Action Shooting (SASS, Single Action Shooting Society) and in that we have alias', mine is Ben Cartwright. I also have 3 sons, the middle one is heavy set and the youngest is a left (sound familiar) he is also in SASS and his alias is Joe Cartwright.
The 40 Walkers was 3 years ago so even more unusual, probably some old person cashing them in for $20

Now Ben that is cool so co-insidental; anyway my windfall happened while I was working during the early 70's. I thought the same some older person cashing in saved coins.

That is the same bank I got the CRH bug at getting $7 in 90% around Nov 2013. Mix of franklins and 1964. I must have searched there while you were on hiatus BC they never had more than some loose coins at a time when I'd ask. I live about 5 miles in opposite direction of the stadium. I only make it to Walpole these days when one of my kids insist on food shopping at the big y.

CLS12 - good going on the $7 roll, just shows they are still out there. Have you ever been to Westside Coin in Walpole? Lou is a great guy.
Regarding searching rolls I guess I am addicted to it again, had kicked the habit and just bought junk silver with the gas money I save not running around to banks, have several coffee cans full of it. But it is the rush when you find something that can't compare to buying junk silver!

I tried to stop in there a few times while I was working nearby, but they always seemed to be closed. I've been to kappy's in Norwood a couple of times and a smaller shop in Plainville. I haven't found much success with pricing at either, so I mostly browse and make a small purchase/over priced donation. I'm still a newbie- most of my collection is CRH found or from selling some of the 40% on ebay to start accumulating coins for 7070
