Hi my name is mike..... I found this dime a few days ago and was wondering if it might be a mint error of some sort......

Is-This-A-Mint-Error

2 things I noticed is that 1 it has some sort of wierd press to it and 2 if you look at the chin you will notice a pimple like mark.... That mark is not dirt or scratch because it coming out of the coin like a pimple..... It's wierd

The angle and light reflection make it difficult to see details + the photo could be cropped or otherwise closer. I may see a slightly misaligned die (MAD).

Better photos straight on needed but it looks like a minor MAD.

The wart on the chin is a die chip.

We need better pics and a pic of the reverse to comment on the 'bump'. It could be worth your while to get better pics -- I saw something similar and it was called an 'included gas bubble' -- if I recall correctly.

Could you please show the reverse of the coin to confirm if this is a MAD? If both sided are misaligned then you have a struck off center error (very minor though).

Cropping your photos to only the size of the coin will help a lot!

If you do not have a photo management program, you can do it with the Image Optizemer here:

You have a perfectly normal coin, not an error.
