1907 Indian Head Rim

Was going threw some of my culled IHs and found this one. The rim under the date seems to be deeper then the rest of the rim is. Is this concidered off center. Not sure whats going on with it.

Hello O.D.D.,

I don't see anything exceptional on this coin. I think it's pretty common for rims to be slightly different in thickness from one side of a coin to the other. A true off-center strike will be much more obvious.

If the obverse is off a little and the reverse is centered it is a slightly mis-aligned die ,, its pretty common not only in the older coins but in the very modern also as long as all of the details are present there is no added value for mis-aligned dies.
