Not sure where to find a value guide for 1864 MS64 1/2 cent NS red penny and a 1871 red cent MS67 PEI?

Are they certified as being red and 64 & 67? by a repurable firm? Once you get "red" thrown in and you get above 63 for Victorian pieces, you are dealing with multiples of value, not increments.

Auction history provides the best indicator for the price of these coins. When you get into these grades, the prices are also very variable depending upon the demand when you sell it and upon eye appeal, which can dramatically affect the price.

An 1861 NS Half Cent in 64 Red - retail could be anywhere from $400 to $1,000 depending upon how red and the eye appeal.

An 1871 PEI cent in 67 Red - retail should be in the range of $1,000 to $2,000 depending upon the same two factors.
